DNA Repair Enzymes

The key ingredients to all the Photozyme MD products. The eye cream includes the 3 main repair enzymes:

• Photolysomes, DNA repair enzymes extracted from plankton
• Mitosomes, DNA repair enzymes extracted from the mustard plant, Arabidopsis thalania
• Endosomes, DNA repair enzymes extracted from the marine microbe, Micrococcus lysate

These enzymes are plant-derived enzymes which mimic the body’s natural response to photodamage.  The enzymes are encapsulated in a proprietary liposome delivery system which drives them into the skin delivering the cargo into the cell.  The enzymes search and only adhere to the damaged DNA strand.  The cell’s natural process takes over, extracting the damage and replicating a healthy DNA strand. Supporting your body’s own ability to help DNA which naturally slows down with age and high levels of exposure to UV damage.

This DNA repair promotes healthy skin as well as reducing the degradation of collagen and elastin in the skin so working also on reducing the rate of ageing in our skin.

L-Ascorbic – Vitamin C

Tocopherol Acetate – Vitamin E

Vitamin E has antioxidant benefits and healing benefits. This combination of peptides mimics cytokines produced during wounding and they work on cell communication in the skin to promote the synthesis of collagen.

Hydrators
